JFK Terminal 8 announces 21 new dining and retail experiences
A lineup of iconic New York food brands is coming to JFK Terminal-8 (T8). The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, in partnership with American Airlines and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Airports, announced on Thursday, Sept. 26, 21 new dining, retail, entertainment, and amenity brands run by 13 local businesses. The local businesses are among the first selected as part of the $125 million commercial redevelopment program at JFK Airport T8.

Alaska Airlines inaugurates service on five new routes
Alaska Airlines is kicking off five new nonstop routes. Beginning today, guests can travel between Las Vegas and both San Diego and Santa Rosa/Sonoma County, and between Los Angeles and both Pasco, Washington, and Reno. We’re also resuming our nonstop service between Portland and Atlanta.
Morgan Stanley Closing Some CashPlus Accounts
Morgan Stanley is closing the Cash Plus accounts of some customers. It seems to be affecting customers that were paying the $55 monthly fee, rather than having $25,000 parked in the account. This was worth it to avoid paying the annual fee on the American Express Platinum Morgan Stanley card.
Mastercard to buy Swedish startup that makes it easier to manage and cancel subscription plans
Mastercard said Tuesday that it’s agreed to acquire Minna Technologies, a software firm that makes it easier for consumers to manage their subscriptions. Minna Technologies, which is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, develops technology that helps consumers manage subscriptions within their banking apps and websites, regardless of which payment method they used for their subscriptions.
TSA PreCheck Adds Two New Airlines
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today its TSA PreCheck® program added Caribbean Airlines and RED Air to the nearly 100 airlines now participating in the program. TSA PreCheck is an expedited screening program that enables low-risk travelers to enjoy a secure and efficient screening experience at more than 200 U.S. state and territory airports, and at the Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, Bahamas.
