AICC Incharge of Telangana, Manikrao Thakare, expressed confidence on December 1, asserting that the Congress party would establish governance in the state, as indicated by exit polls. He emphasized the people’s trust in the Congress and its leadership. Thakare stated, “The exit polls show that the Congress party will form a government…If they (BRS) have not done any development for the people, nothing will happen by show off. People should trust you. People trust Congress & Congress leadership.” Exit polls on November 30 projected that Congress is set to form the government in Telangana, suggesting the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) may fall short of the majority after a decade-long rule in India’s youngest state.
