After an intriguing first look, the trailer of Karan Johar’s upcoming series, Showtime, is out. The show features a star-studded ensemble cast including Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Naseeruddin Shah, Shriya Saran and more.
The trailer opens with the “Badshah of Bollywood” played by Emraan Hashmi. We see him get into debates about nepotism. The clip offers a closer look at Mouni Roy as Hashmi’s onscreen partner, Rajeev Khandelwal as a star and Naseeruddin Shah as a producer.
It looks like Showtime will reveal the dark side of Bollywood. It will also tackle topics like nepotism and power struggles.
Showtime was announced last year. Sharing the announcement, Karan Johar stated in a press release that the series will lift the curtain on showbiz’s “biggest trade secrets.”
Showtime will release on March 8, 2024, on OTT.
