There should be way in Kite to play around with different positions to check margin calculator. Currently margin calculator do work but takes old data(yesterday’s data) as base.
Kite can have real time margin play to check if position is viable in active trading.
This will help greatly in forecasting fund requirements and avoid unnecessary penalties.
You can use the basket order feature on Kite for this. You just need to add whatever positions you want to take to the basket and it’ll show you the required margins. You can learn more about basket orders here: How to place basket orders on Kite?
