Athiya’s haldi ensemble in a vintage anarakali suit is the ideal blend of comfort and luxury. For the pre-wedding festivities, Suniel Shetty’s Khandala home was converted into a marigold paradise.
The actress looked stunning in an ivory-colored ensemble designed by Ritu Kumar. Athiya took to Instagram and posted a series of photos of herself, KL Rahul, and other family members.
She simply captioned the photos “Sukh” and added a Sun emoticon. In the photos, she was dressed in an ivory and gold embellished gown, while KL Rahul was dressed in a beige sharvani.

The actress wore an ivory-colored Ritu Kumar anarkali for her haldi ceremony. Her cotton anarkali has beautiful handcrafted gold gota work all over the suit and has heavy gota stitched over the collar and borders, giving her outfit a royal air. She accessorised her anarkali outfit with a garara, dupatta, and gota embroidery.
Athiya Shetty wore a Ritu Kumar Elysian Anarkali with a garara and odhna from the House of Ritu Kumar’s archival repertoire. According to the designer, swatches and inspirations from the nineteenth century were taken and revived around 15 years ago to create this Anarkali.
The designer took to Instagram to share details about Athiya’s Haldi outfit. She stated that the Royalty of Rajasthan were known to adorn garments in pure cotton with gota embroidery, and that they took inspiration from this and had 200 count cotton muslin weaved by Phulia, Bengal artisans.
In addition, the intricate hand embroidery took nearly 2000 man hours to complete, and it was done by hand crumpling and folding the gota to create these mango motifs. According to the designer, Gokhru gota from Jaipur were used extensively throughout the ensemble, which are ribbons with metal strip wefts and fibre warps.
Accessorised the look
Athiya Shetty completed the look with a stunning maang tikka, sophisticated earrings, and fizzy Goblet golden jutis, which completed her style wonderfully.

Athiya chose blush pink eyeshadow, nude pink lips, and eyelids lined with kohl-lined eyes, sleek winged eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, reddened cheeks, a glowing complexion, and darkened brows, for the glam selections with the help of make-up artist Simran Gidwani.
Athiya kept her hair open in a half updo hairdo and embellished it with jasmine flowers, with the help of hairdresser Reena Dutta.
