October is here and that means it’s time to for Halloween! If you or your girls love to dress up for Halloween, go trick or treating and hang out at the haunted houses, you’ll want to check out these wonderful Halloween layout ideas for girls and women. There’s pastels for girly girls and dark and creepy for those girls who like to be spooky.

If you’re not into dark and spooky try pastels, it’s been trendy to use softer colors for Halloween for while now. Ashley used strips of pattern papers, adding a fish tail to the end of each and stitched them to the background of her page, adding sentiments and clusters of embellishments. This adorable Witches Brew layout from Lisa uses some bright colors over top a stark black background. She layered wide strips of pattern papers, with lines drawn around the edges on one side along with the photo and balanced it out with a sticker title and cute embellishments on the other. Adrienne used new dies from Spellbinders including a cute witch dressed similar to the girl in the photo on this adorable Halloween page. She also used letter dies to spell BOO, using a trick or treat bucket for one of the O’s. There’s also torn pattern papers and lots of floral dies too. Melissa used tiny leaf and trendy teal pattern paper stitched and distressed for the backdrop of her layout. Behind the cute photos she used die cut rounded corner rectangles, leaves and pumpkins, all with faux stitching to help tie everything together. There’s also a custom die cut letter title. This cool pumpkin carving page have a offset row of four photos, 3 with stapled sentiments, the other with a frame. There’s also lots of layers of fun embellishments like bats, ghosts and pumpkins below the photos and a row of stamped squares up top. I spotted this design on the Elle’s Studio Instagram page.

This sweet layout is perfect for a little one who’s too cute to spooky. It has a multicolored stenciled background with torn paper papers. I love the gold “Hey Boo!” title, so cute! I spotted this idea on Laurengirl’s gallery at Scrapbook.com.
This fun digital Halloween layout uses lots of traditional orange, black and grey colors but the cute 80’s inspired girl in her bright pink outfit really pops among those colors. Digital is a great way to add loads of embellishments that won’t add a lot of bulk to your design. This idea uses new products from Ginger Scraps.
Erin used new products from Stampin’ Up for her witchy layouts featuring her outdoor Halloween decor. She got a stamped cauldron with a stack of books, journaling typed onto vellum, distressed colored cardstocks and spider web pattern papers.
