Vahbiz Dorabjee calls her parents her ‘pillars of strength’ and expressed her gratitude.
Vahbiz Dorabjee recently made her comeback on our television screens with her show Deewaniyat. She plays a negative role in the show which also stars Navneet Malik in the lead. While Vahbiz’s portrayal of a grey character is being widely loved by the audience, the actress has now revealed that her parents have been her biggest support in her acting journey. She called them her ‘pillars of strength’ and expressed her gratitude.
“My parents have always been my biggest supporters since the very beginning of my career. I started when I was 17, and both my mom and dad have been my pillars of strength. When I told them about doing this show, they were incredibly happy and genuinely excited to see me back on screen,” Vahbiz said.
Talking about the most exciting part of stepping back into the world of television, Vahbiz added, “It had been a very long break, so naturally, I was thrilled to make my comeback, especially since the role itself was so exciting. Playing a negative lead for a reputable production house and an amazing channel like Star Plus made it even more special. I was genuinely excited to return to the screen.”
Vahbiz further revealed that her parents are very happy with her decision to resume work. She also recalled an important lesson that her family taught her and revealed that it helps her stay humble, always.
“They were incredibly supportive and encouraged me, saying it was great that I signed this project because they had been missing seeing me on screen. Although I do other work, they’ve always wanted to see me return to television. My parents have always taught me the value of hard work and the importance of achieving everything through my own merit, which has been a guiding principle in my journey,” she concluded.
