In response to the unfortunate demise of a female Cheetah named ‘Daksha’ on May 9, Vijay Shah, the Forest Minister of Madhya Pradesh, commented on the incident as a natural occurrence within the animal kingdom. During an interview with ANI, he mentioned that when the Cheetah was brought in, it was anticipated that the survival rate would be around 50 percent. However, efforts were made to ensure a 100 percent survival rate. The minister explained that the cause of death was a territorial fight among the Cheetahs, emphasizing that such incidents are a normal part of the animal world and not an uncommon occurrence.
