Not sure who asked this and whether its still a question, but anyway –
Nothing will work on random data. I actually use that to test my backtest code. If you get +ve numbers with random data, then you have a bug, perhaps looking at future data.

At a certain point, it becomes clear that the person you’re conversing with is unwilling to agree with anything you say. Responding to such posts in a forum is futile as it leads nowhere.
I completely disagree with TA. However, I can’t deny that it works for some people. I know a few who make impressive returns, including one person who made a 30 crore profit from two years of intraday trading with a capital of 1cr. He is here on forum. He doesn’t reply to posts here, but I’m sure he’s reading them.

I told that a lot to my ex but got back every single time. Trust me. Every next time it got more toxic.

I sent this to him in a direct message(These quotes are my messages and his replies) to do in-depth research on what basis he is saying this.
Most of them make losses. Out of the files that I have, 95percent of them have losses.

I think Technical analysis used for predicting market movements(this is what most people do) will most likely lead to losses.
However, if you combine it with proper risk management and position sizing strategies, you can definitely make money.
