Hainan Airlines Resumes Direct Service Between Seattle and Beijing
Hainan Airlines will resume nonstop flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) in China after a four year hiatus. This is the first nonstop service between SEA and PEK since the COVID-19 pandemic travel suspensions.
The Chinese airline plans to operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This is the shortest direct flight between the continental United States and Mainland China.
Hainan Airlines is the first and only SKYTRAX 5-Star airline in mainland China and has been awarded the SKYTRAX 5-Star Airline for 12 consecutive years since 2011. The airline will deploy its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners on this route.
