“These rankings illustrate the result of an institution’s teaching-learning pedagogy and norms, and Chandigarh University follows a systematic industry-oriented approach to ensure top-class education to its students and prepare a future-ready talent that contributes to nation-building,” Satnam Singh Sandhu said, adding that the university’s performance in the recently released NIRF Rankings 2023 is proof that the university has worked hard. He went on to say that Chandigarh University has steadily risen through the ranks of many national and international rankings over the years.
“In NIRF-2023, the University moved up two spots from last year’s 29th rank to 27th in the category of top institutions in the country.”
“The university has made significant progress in a variety of disciplines and will continue to improve in the coming years,” Satnam Singh Sandhu said. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) establishes a framework for rating institutions based on the overall suggestions and broad understanding reached by a Core Committee established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to identify the broad factors for ranking various universities and institutes. The parameters include a wide range of topics, including “Teaching, Learning, and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practises,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception.”
