TCS CEO K Krithivasan has called out emerging technologies, customer intimacy and delivery excellence as the essence of the company’s next growth phase.
In an email to employees, Krithivasan, who took charge on Thursday, said, “As we step into the next phase of TCS, we will continue our investments in key and emerging areas like cloud, cyber security, 5G, IoT and generative Al with an unrelenting focus on customer relationships and impeccable delivery. ”
Prior to taking charge as CEO, Krithivasan was the global head of BFSI, handling TCS’s largest portfolio of $11 billion. A TCSer since 1989, Krithivasan holds a Master’s degree in industrial and management engineering from IIT Kanpur. “Since the time I joined TCSin 1989, it has been a period of continuous learning. I have had great opportunities to understand and appreciate our core values through various leadership roles across delivery, sales, client management and business management,” he wrote. He went on to say: “I step into this role on the strength of these friendships and relationships. ”
