The University of Calcutta has released the results of the BA/BSc and BCom semester-II examinations results today, November 30, 2023.
Students who are enrolled in the semester – II (Honours/General/Major) and gave the exam, can now check the results by logging into the official portal wbresults.ac.in. with their personal details.

Follow these steps to check and download the University of Calcutta results online:
Step 1: Visit the official website: Go to the official website of the University of Calcutta at https://www.caluniv.ac.in/.
Step 2: Navigate to the results section: Locate the “Results” or “Examination” section on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the relevant exam: Choose the specific examination or semester you wish to check results for, such as B.A./B.Sc. Semester-II or B.Com. Semester-II.
Step 4: Enter roll number and Captcha: Provide your roll number and enter the Captcha code displayed on the screen. Verify the accuracy of the information before proceeding.
Step 5: Submit and view results: After entering the required details, click on the “Submit” or “View Results” button to proceed.
Step 6: Download and print the results: Once the results are displayed, download them by clicking on the download icon. Alternatively, use the print option to obtain a physical copy for future reference.
It is important to note that if a candidate does not receive a minimum of 30% in the internal assessment, they will be required to repeat that semester within five years. Similarly, if a candidate fails a paper, they must reappear for that paper in the following semester.
Second semester results for approximately 151 colleges affiliated with the University of Calcutta was released today. These colleges are located in the districts of Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, and South 24 Parganas. The university also has 16 institutes affiliated with it, such as the Asutosh Museum of Indian Art and the Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys’ Academy.
