Making this disclosure on the sidelines of the 2-day workshop for nodal Goshala operators held at TTD’s Sri Venkateswara employees training academy in Tirupati on Thursday, Chairman YV Subba Reddy said that the temple body had thrust upon itself the noble task of promoting natural farming techniques among the ryots of Andhra Pradesh, based on the directions of Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy is focussing on motivating the farmers to encourage organic farming by setting up an exclusive department, the first of its kind by any Government in the country. Following the CM’s intent, TTD has also taken up Gosamrakshana programmes in a big way”, TTD Chairman added.
Meanwhile, YV Subba Reddy handed over eight cows to organic farmers of DV Satram in Tirupati district and along with other TTD top brass officials and later he flagged off the vehicle carrying the bovines to DV Satram.
