This recruitment drive aims to fill 300 Assistant vacancies in the UIIC, for different departments across the country.Candidates can find the detailed state-wise vacancy list in the recruitment notice.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must be graduates from a recognised University. It is essential for candidates to have knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the State of Recruitment.
Age Limit
Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years old and a maximum of 30 years old.
Application Fee
The application fees for all applicants, excluding SC, ST, and PwBD, as well as permanent employees of the company, are Rs. 1000. Service charges for SC, ST, and PwBD, along with permanent employees of the company, are Rs. 250, plus GST as applicable.
How to apply for UIIC Assistant recruitment 2023
Step 1: Visit the official website at uiic.co.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on “Recruitment of Assistants 2023.”
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register on the page and proceed with the application process.
Step 5: Complete the application form with the necessary details.
Step 6: Upload all the required documents as specified.
Step 7: Submit the application form.
Step 8: After submission, download the form. Take a printout of the form for future reference.
Selection process
Registered candidates will be required to participate in the online examination, where their performance will be assessed. Successful candidates from the online examination will proceed to a Regional Language Test.
The examination time limit is set at 120 minutes (two hours). Each section of the objective online test is assigned a maximum number of marks, which contributes to the overall evaluation of candidates’ performance. Check section wise details below-
In the online examination, the penalty for incorrect answers is one-fourth of the marks assigned to the question, whereas there is no penalty for unanswered questions. The final selection is based on performance in the online exam, if the candidate is also successful in passing the Regional Language Test. Following that, a merit list will be created, organised by state and category, and in descending order of the marks obtained by candidates who passed both the online exam and the Regional Language Test.
Candidates on the merit list who fill the required number of vacancies are then considered for provisional selection, subject to satisfactory Medical Fitness results.
