Orange is the new red
Traditional brides often opt for the sindoori red shade for their wedding day. However, Alia‘s orange-coloured lehenga proves one can stick with traditions and still experiment while looking royal at the same time. She wore a choli featuring a plunging neckline, half-length sleeves, cropped midriff, heavy gold cutdana and gota work embroidery.
The wedding sequence from the film:
Alia styled the short blouse with a matching lehenga decked in similar adornments, featuring a layered ghera and an A-line silhouette. Lastly, a zari dupatta – cascading to form a long train and draped on her head – features sequin work, gota patti embroidery, and floral-shaped cutdana embellishments on the borders.
For the accessories, Alia picked a choker necklace, bangles, bracelets, Kaleeres, matha patti, a dainty nath, and jhumkis. Lastly, she went for a centre-parted sleek bun adorned with white gajra, kohl-lined eyes, mascara on the lashes, feathered brows, rouged cheekbones, glossy pink lip shade, a dainty bindi, and glowing skin for the glam picks.
