Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most loved celebrities in the country. Known for her performance in films like Yashoda, Rangasthalam and Kushi the actress has come a long way specially after staring out with a minute role in the 2010 Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. From making us groove to the tunes of Oo Oo Antava to making her mark into the OTT circuit with The Family Man, Samantha has proven her talent several times.
So, on the occasion of her 37th birthday today, let’s go over her upcoming projects. Her first project is Citadel: Honey Bunny. Samantha will be sharing screen space with Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan for the first time in the show, which also marks his OTT debut. This is the Indian adaptation of Priyanka Chopra’s famous series by Raj&DK who have created hit shows like Farzi and The Family Man. The spy-thriller series is not exactly a remake of the original but a spin-off. The show also stars Sikander Kher and has partly been shot in Siberia. The poster seems extremely cool and the show is definitely one of the highest anticipated releases of OTT.
Today, Samantha took to social media to announce a new project titled Bangaram. The project is being backed by Tralala Moving Pictures and will start filming soon. Check out the catchy motion poster:
On the personal front, the actress had recently taken a break from work after completing the shoot for Citadel to focus on her health. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called myositis and keeps giving fans health updates through social media.
