Khushi Kapoor, the sister of Janhvi Kapoor, is prepared to make her Bollywood debut in The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar. Janhvi recently recalled her sister’s first day on set and said it broke her heart not to be there with her. This also caused the actress to reevaluate her career.
Janhvi Kapoor spoke candidly about the first day of her sister Khushi Kapoor’s filming in an interview, saying, “It was the first time when I felt like I should just give up acting and maybe, I should just become like one of those on-set moms, who say, ‘Baby ke liye juice laao’, like a proper momager (laughs). What’s the point of any of it if I’m not able to be there for my family? But I’m doing it for. Hopefully, it will all be worth it.”
The conversations at the dinner table are frequently about work, according to Janhvi Kapoor, who also noted that her sister Khushi Kapoor is preparing for the release of her debut movie. “Yeah, but the discussion mostly is now about dates in terms of ‘Oh, where am I on this day? Okay, so, you are there. Maybe we will get two days in between to spend time together.’ It’s mostly about dates and schedules (laughs).”
The Archies, which is an Indian adaptation of the well-known comic book of the same name, is billed as a coming-of-age tale that will introduce Indian audiences to the teens from Riverdale.
