All We Imagine as Light is premiering in competition at the Cannes Film Festival making it the first Indian film in decades to compete at the prestigious festival. Following which, the first trailer of the film has arrived. Earlier, director Payal Kapadia directed the film A Night of Knowing Nothing in the year 2021.
The film showcases the story of how a trip to a beach town gives two nurses a chance to find space for their desires. Set in the city of Mumbai, the protagonist nurse Prabha’s routine is thrown into disarray when she receives an unexpected gift from her estranged husband. Her younger roommate Anu is trying in vain to find a place in the city to live with your boyfriend.
