Born as Shamsher Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor needs no introduction. His iconic filmography spans decades and his influence remains prevalent to date. The legendary actor made his acting debut with Jeevan Jyoti (1953). He went on to star in several memorable films through the years including Brahmachari (1968), Junglee (1961), Teesri Manzil (1966), Kashmir Ki Kali (1964) and more. With his groovy charm, he earned the moniker of India’s Elvis Presley. Hindi cinema witnessed a great loss when he passed away in August 2011.
