Saif Ali Khan recently emphasised the widespread fascination with celebrity children, not limited to his own kids. In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, the actor expressed how conversations mainly centre around famous kids even in projects such as Zoya Akhtar’s recent period musical, The Archies.
Saif Ali Khan mentioned in the interview that there is a considerable amount of interest from the audience and the public in the children of celebrities.
He specifically mentioned The Archies, highlighting that the discussion often centres around specific actors with well-known family backgrounds. The Archies notably introduced Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Agastya Nanda, the maternal grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, and Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of the late Sridevi.
Saif Ali Khan also noted the constant scrutiny his younger sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, known as Jeh, receive from the media. He pointed out how their every move is closely followed by photographers and highlighted instances such as Taimur’s taekwondo practice being widely captured and circulated on the internet. Khan questioned the origin and significance of this attention, suggesting that it’s not their intention to seek such spotlight. He humorously remarked that while they may contribute genetically to the celebrity kid status, it’s the media, photographers, and public that truly define it.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif Ali Khan will next be seen in Devara alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
