Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming project Chhava is a historical period drama on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. While shooting action scenes for a war sequence, Vicky sustained an injury, leading to a 20-day hiatus from filming.
As per reports on ETimes, Vicky has since recovered and is set to resume filming on March 9. The film’s current schedule has the team stationed in Wai, Maharashtra.
In addition to Vicky Kaushal, Chhava also features Rashmika Mandanna, known for her role in Animal, portraying the character of Yesu Bai, the wife of Chattrapati Sambhaji. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie boasts an ensemble cast including Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta, Kiran Karmarkar, and Neelkanti Patekar.
Apart from Chhava, Vicky Kaushal is involved in other high-profile projects. He is part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, and also stars in an untitled romantic comedy by Karan Johar, directed by Anand Tiwari, alongside Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk.
