H&M Group is in contact with local stakeholders in terms of how to best support the country and local communities as they look to rebuild. In addition to previous donations supporting the people in Ukraine, the group will partner with organisations on the ground and engage in relief and rebuilding programmes, the company said in a press note.
H&M Group plans to reopen most of its Ukraine stores from November 2023.
After temporary closure since February 2022, the company is now preparing to re-establish operations with a focus on safety.
H&M will also partner with local organisations to support relief and rebuilding programmes, demonstrating commitment to both business and community.
“As H&M Group continues to monitor developments in the country, preparations are being made to reopen the majority of the H&M stores where possible. The safety of colleagues and customers will always be the first and foremost priority,” the company said.
