Humayun conveyed these sentiments during a meeting with FBCCI president Mahbubul Alam at the Industries Ministry headquarters in capital Dhaka.

The FBCCI president, in his address, urged the Industries Ministry to prioritise initiatives aimed at modernising equipment and augmenting testing capabilities at the laboratory of the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) situated in Chittagong port.
Additionally, he called for the modernisation of existing industrial policies and the enhancement of operational efficiency within Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) industrial cities.
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including FBCCI senior vice president Md Amin Helaly, highlighting the significance of collaborative efforts between governmental and private entities in advancing the nation’s economic agenda.
