Recurring profit followed suit, marking a 14.8 per cent increase to 4.6 billion yen, representing a YoY gain of 600 million yen. Net profit closed the quarter at 2.9 billion yen, demonstrating growth of 28.3 per cent, equivalent to 600 million yen, the company said in a press release.
Onward Holdings reported a 5.7 per cent YoY increase in net sales to 51 billion yen in Q3 FY23.
Operating profit surged by 13.5 per cent, recurring profit by 14.8 per cent, and net profit by 28.3 per cent.
For 9M FY23, net sales rose 8.4 per cent, operating profit doubled, recurring profit increased 1.9 times, and net profit grew 2.1 times.
For the first nine months of fiscal 2023 (9M FY23), net sales increased by a notable 8.4 per cent YoY, reaching 141.4 billion yen—a rise of 11 billion yen. Operating profit also exhibited growth, skyrocketing to 9.7 billion yen, which is 2.2 times higher than the previous year, reflecting a significant gain of 5.4 billion yen.
Recurring profit in 9M FY23 also experienced substantial growth, reaching 9.1 billion yen, a notable 1.9 times higher than the previous year, indicating a gain of 4.4 billion yen. Net profit closed the first nine months at 5.7 billion yen, marking a substantial 2.1 times increase compared to the previous year, amounting to 3 billion yen.
