In the Ludhiana market, PC yarn experienced a bearish tone, with prices trading lower by ₹3-4 per kg. The sluggish demand from the weaving industry contributed to the price decline. However, polyester spun yarn prices remained steady. A trader from the Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, “The market observed poor demand for PC yarn, which led to a decline in prices. Although there was slightly better demand for polyester spun yarn, its prices did not find support.” Traders did not see any impact on polyester spun yarn following the implementation of the QCO.
PC cotton yarn prices in Ludhiana decreased due to weak demand, while polyester spun yarn remained stable.
