When can we expect to transfer existing NPS accounts? Any tentative timeline?
Hi @Roby @ranton137 @Chetan_Nahata @Karthik_Ragu
We are unable to do this is because of limitations with the CRAs.
We have figured out a solution but it will take some time.

This is interesting, so does this mean I can pledge my NPS holdings for collateral the way I do for mutual funds @Bhuvan? Thanks for this!
Hi @GuestTrader
At Zerodha, client cannot invest via credit card.
if the CRA website allows it, Yes, you can purchase
Disclaimer: Please manage the risks associated with credit card purchases carefully
Nope, not possible. NPS is a separate architecture altogether regulated by PFRDA and not SEBI.

Hi @Nandu_Reddy
Not currently. But we’re working on making this possible.

How to see combined portfolio on the Coin app? Only on Coin Web, when I select NPS from the drop down, I can see NPS details. That option is not even available on the Coin app.
I recently created NPS with Zerodha with super high hopes to see the portfolio combined with my mutual funds, but I dont see that yet.
Bhuvan:
Tier 2: This has no lock-in, you can invest and withdraw anytime you want to, similar to mutual funds. We aren’t offering this to start with.
when does Tier 2 option will be available ?
This is currently work in progress and will be launched soon on the app. Hopefully by end of August or even earlier.
Is tier 2 NPS considered in 80C ? I read somewhere it’s not.
That’s right. Tier 2 NPS is not considered in tax benefits under section 80C
