BSE Limited surged 13% during the session and eventually settled with a gain of nearly 7% following the exchange’s announcement of revised transaction charges for trades in the equity derivatives segment, effective from November 1, 2023.
IPCA Laboratories surged 6%, reaching a 52-week high, following its receipt of a voluntary action indicated (VAI) classification for its Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh manufacturing facility from the USFDA.
Kotak Mahindra Bank announced that the RBI has given its nod for the appointment of Ashok Vaswani, a banker with over 35 years of experience, as the forthcoming MD and CEO of the bank.

The Union Cabinet approved Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) rates on Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers for the Rabi season 2023-24, with an outlay of Rs 22,303 crore, to ensure fertilizer availability to farmers.
As per data from real estate consultancy Knight Frank, the number of property registrations in Mumbai city increased 37.4% year on year to 4594 units during Navratri this year.
GMR Airports, along with its partners, is set to purchase an additional 11% stake in GMR Hyderabad International Airport from Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad’s division, taking their total stake to 74%. This deal is valued at 100 million dollars.
