After just about one month on the market, the cozy Spanish-style home in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles that belonged to exes Carmelo and La La Anthony, has found a buyer. It is possible there may have been a bidding war for the 1929-build as the former couple were able to get $3 million for the historic home, which is $400,000 over the $2.6 million dollar February listing price, and $700,000 more than their purchase price back in 2010.
Hidden behind mature hedges, the single-story abode packs three bedrooms and three baths into approximately 2,000 square feet, and sits on about 6,500 square feet of land. Despite being almost one hundred years old, the home’s interiors reflect a contemporary sensibility with historic elements like its high wood beamed ceilings, retained. Dark wood floors can be found throughout the home and contrast beautifully with the white, gray, and beige walls that brighten rooms.
