They are emblazoned with lush, romantic Hill House Home designs, like the beloved Pastel Trellis that draws from 17th-century French textiles and sold out almost instantly when it appeared in the 2021 English Garden drop. Currently, it is the print of choice for the wallpaper and pillows brightening Diamond’s office. “Those who have seen my Zoom background know,” she points out. Blue Trellis, its moodier twin, swathes curtains, benches, and dressing room tents in the Nantucket store. “We’re always thinking of ways to give each location its own identity,” Diamond adds.
There is also Blue Botanical, a watercolor pattern hatched with French textile designer Leïla Dubus based on vintage florals “and added subtle bows and a few hidden animals to keep it fun,” Diamond says. “We incorporated this in the foyer of our office. The moment you walk in, the walls, ceiling, and couch are all covered in Blue Botanical.”

Other designs spearheaded by Dubus include Pond Floral, Shell Pond Floral (it adorns the office’s design room), and Cream Pond Floral, which reimagine nostalgic Beatrix Potter stories with whimsical toads, squirrels, and ducks. Sand Sherwood and Multi Sherwood, spawned from a 1900s hand-painted gouache print, showcase woodland flora and fauna, a forest vignette also found in the Rockefeller Center store.
Hill House Home’s retail presence in Nantucket, Palm Beach, and New York City—Charleston and Dallas lie ahead in 2024—along with the showstopping office, have only heightened its appeal among fans. “We used our own prints as key design elements of each of these spaces,” Diamond says, noting how “these tangible representations of the Hill House design point of view” were in fact the springboard to the new rollout. “When you step into any of our stores or see our office, you really are transported into the world of Hill House.”
