Fans of Hocus Pocus and lovers of spooky season will want to take a peek at Airbnb’s latest offering: a recreation of the Hocus Pocus house in Salem. The thematic one-night stay brings to life the Sanderson sisters’ cottage from the 1993 film. On October 12, the lodging platform will open booking requests for a $31 one-night stay at the witchy abode, located in a Salem, Massachusetts forest. Whoever manages to book the listing first will head to Salem with one additional guest on October 20 for a night of Halloween mischief amid the cottage’s over-the-top spooky trappings.
The festive stay comes just in time for the cult classic’s highly anticipated sequel, 29 years after its predecessor was released. Hocus Pocus 2, streaming on Disney+ starting on September 30, stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy reprising their roles as the trio of witches known as the Sanderson sisters. “We all know that the Sanderson Sisters’ story might not have ended when we turned to dust, nor did our shenanigans,” Najimy said. “What better way to celebrate the season than to host guests at the trio’s historic haunt for a night they’ll remember for years to come?”
