September 1, 2023 — Genderless Malin + Goetz is a go-to for several AD editors, and last month the brand expanded its beloved strawberry fragrance to a potent perfume oil and fresh candle. Crafted with a bright blend of pink pepper, jasmine, and cedar, the new but familiar iterations are designed with the goal to elevate your natural smell with a warm and soothing musk.
September 4, 2023 — The next fragrance on our list is the spicy Myrrhe Mystère from Tom Ford. Featuring a seductive blend of myrrh essence, sandalwood, and vanilla, this very luxurious eau de parfum is versatile enough to be worn by any gender and its long-lasting scent makes it the perfect daytime office-to-date night out option.
September 4, 2023 — In addition to its newest location in New York’s Meatpacking District, Aesop unveiled the sixth and final scent of its Othertopias fragrance story, Ouranon. A refreshing take on a classic woody scent, this distinct fusion of frankincense, hay, and myrrh blend together to “evoke a scent of past, present, and future.”
September 6, 2023 — If you’re serious about prepping piping hot coffees and teas as the weather dips, Aarke’s newest innovation should be at the top of your wish list. This month, the Swedish design brand unveiled a very sleek-looking electric kettle to elevate home hydration. Made of 96% stainless steel with a double-wall construction to retain heat, the sophisticated kettle will make your morning tea (or late night ramen) feel all the more elegant.
September 6, 2023 — Earlier this month, we reported new home items landed at Banana Republic, but we think the collection deserves a second shout-out. It’d be a cinch to redecorate your entire space with the sprawling selections of bed linens, furniture, lighting, art, and more, but high up on our list of favorites is this very luxurious sofa that’s available in both natural weave and velvet upholstery.
September 7, 2023 — We love any excuse to update our home office (and have even tested many chairs to find you the best options). That’s why Vitra’s newly launched ACX Task Chair by Antonio Citterio is the next item that piqued our interest in September. Available in configurations that are 100% recyclable, the chair is designed to accommodate wide ranges of height and weights without sacrificing any points in the style department.
September 7, 2023 — With sweater weather nearly upon us, we think this handsome sweater shaver from Steamery is a smart buy. Gentle but effective and now available in a trendy shade of sage green, this shaver removes lint and pilling from all kinds of textiles—making old knits, scarves, or even your favorite throw blanket look as good as new.
September 12, 2023 — We adored the new collection of polishes and apparel that came from Harry Styles’s Pleasing this month, with the collection drawing on various motifs of anthropomorphic tigers, rabbits, grapes, and more. Entitled Fancy Friends, we think any T-shirt and polish set from the drop might even make a lovely early holiday gift to your Harry-obsessed bestie.
September 14, 2023 — Bose’s new QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are the perfect way to upgrade your morning commute or gym routine. Equipped with world-class noise cancellation and designed for maximum comfort, the earphones feature six hours of listening as well as an extra 18 hours stored in its charging case—meaning you’ll almost certainly never run out of tunes.
September 15, 2023 — You heard it here: Sultry scents for fall are in. Case in point, the newest oud gourmand fragrance in Byredo’s Night Veils Collection, Rouge Chaotique. Diffusing top notes of saffron, black currant, lemon, and bergamot with base notes of patchouli, oud, and papyrus, the rich and opulent scent is perfect for anyone who’s looking to be a bit more adventurous with their fragrance choice.
September 15, 2023 — Seat Week may be over but we’re not quite done gushing over beautiful chairs just yet. The Citizenry unveiled a new collection of custom furniture this month, entitled “The Layered Home.” We like the rounded look of their Bay Armchair, which is available in canvas, linen, and a cotton velvet that’s perfect for fall.
September 19, 2023 — Cold Picnic released new bamboo silk rugs this month, and the delightfully abstract designs are bursting with child-like wonder. Handmade from either 100% Tex New Zealand wool or bamboo silk-cotton, the collection was inspired by oil crayon-on-paper abstract drawings by Freya, the daughter of founders Phoebe and Peter. We like the pop of lime green seen in this abstract design, which is still neutral enough to fit in with more understated spaces.
September 26, 2023 — Our Place is our go-to for functionally stylish cookware, and the brand’s newest launch with Selena Gomez has us more excited than ever to get in the kitchen. This week, the brand launched the Cookwear collection—an array of stylish aprons and kitchen accessories to help you feel like a professional during meal prep. We’re personally obsessed with this deep cobalt blue hosting apron, complete with handy pockets and charming ruffled detailing.
September 28, 2023 — Maiden Home also landed a new home in September. The brand behind some of our favorite furniture opened their inaugural store in the Meatpacking District this month, a 3,300-square-feet space designed by Cochineal. We highly recommend stopping in to check out the Dune Chair, which editor Zoë Sessums called, “A great option for a lover of minimalism, but also for someone who likes cozy accents.”
