The United States may have some of the best places to stop and take selfies. Some of these places may be in the middle of big cities, nature centers, or even just on the side of the road. You may have to travel far to reach some of these locations, but others may be right in your own backyard.

1. Niagra Falls, NY
As we all know, Niagra Falls is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, and you can view it from either Canada or the United States.
This gorgeous waterfall, towering at 188 feet high, is a great spot to stop and take a selfie with this massive structure; you may get a little wet, though!
2. Statue Of Liberty, NY
Another New York site, the Statue of Liberty, is one of the most popular tourist spots in all of America. A gift from France, she stands at 151 feet alone and 305 feet with the pedestal.
You can take a tour and even take stairs to the top of her crown. Plan your trip to get your selfie inside the crown or right out in front of her!
3. Golden Gate Bridge, CA
The Golden Gate Bridge, located in famous San Francisco, connects over the Pacific Ocean and has a length of 1.7 total miles. Walking this bridge is a beautiful time with plenty of places to stop and take your picture.
If you fear bridges, you do not even need to step on the bridge. There are plenty of spots to stop on the outskirts of the bridge.
4. Cloud Gate, IL
A large chrome bean sculpture that was crafted by a British artist, Anish Kapoor, is located in the community area of Chicago and has been a massive tourist spot for many years.
It is power-washed and cleaned daily to ensure it looks excellent for selfie-takers!
5. Key Largo, FL
Key Largo is often called the “Gateway to the Keys,” and its waterways are very special. They are covered with mangroves and offer plenty of incredible places to take selfies along the way.
While taking a selfie here may require some adventure, such as kayaking, the picture will be worth it.
6. Disney World, FL
A childhood dream destination for all children, Disney World quickly became a notorious selfie spot. With the gorgeous sunny Florida weather and the opportunity to stand in front of Cinderella’s castle, many important selfies, such as a wedding proposal, have been taken here.
If the castle isn’t your thing, there are other places to take a selfie, and Disney has plenty of characters walking around!
7. Grand Canyon, AZ
This enormous canyon stretches over 277 miles. The total land and trails make for many spots to stop and take a selfie. It’s a cheap option for taking fantastic pictures, but it may take some hiking to achieve it.
8. Empire State Building, NY
The Empire State Building is one of the world’s most iconic buildings and can pop a selfie from the inside or outside. From the outside, you get a visual of how large the building is, but from the inside, you can see through the windows into New York’s gorgeous skyline.
9. Denali National Park, AK
Denali National Park is home to the enormous Mount Denali and North America’s most prominent peak. This makes for a great backdrop in your pictures, and you can also catch a ride with a tour guide bus to get even better views.
10. Hollywood, CA
Hollywood is home to many incredible things, most notably the stars and the Hollywood sign. You could visit your favorite celebrity star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, then take a picture with the sign from afar.
If you want to get closer, you can hike or drive to get a better shot.
11. Las Vegas, NV
Not only does Las Vegas have plenty of great spots within the city limits, but the welcome sign into Las Vegas is the perfect spot for your selfie. This notorious place is another cheap selfie option, but it may get expensive later.
12. Museum of Art, PA
The Museum of Art has plenty of great paintings and such within the building, but most of the fame sits on the outside. The stairs in the front of the building are where the famous Rocky Balboa ran up during his training. If you head there today, I am sure you will see people imitating what he had done in the movie.
