PM Modi emerges as top-ranked global leader with unprecedented approval rating, ahead of Biden and Sunak
Morning Consult’s latest data reveals that India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the world’s most popular leader with a 78% approval rating. He tops the rankings among the 22 nations surveyed, with Mexico’s Andrés Manuel López Obrador coming in second.
US President Joe Biden, Britain’s Rishi Sunak, and Canada’s Justin Trudeau are further down the list.

PM Modi has got the highest rating among adults worldwide. Mexico’s President Andres Manuel López Obrador has got the second place in this list, who has got a 68 percent approval rating. While in third place is the President of Switzerland, Alain Berset, who has got a 62 percent approval rating.
latest data shows US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak have not got a place in the top five. Biden is ranked seventh in this list with a 40 percent approval rating. On the other hand, Sunak has got 13th place in this list with a 30 percent approval rating.

Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with varying sample sizes. The latest approval ratings are based on data collected from January 26-31 this year.
In the latest edition of India Today’s Mood of the Nation poll, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received high approval ratings within the country. If elections were held today, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is projected to win 284 seats, while the Congress is expected to win 191 seats.
PM Modi remains India’s favorite for the post of Prime Minister with 52% of voters supporting his government.
