A locum consultant gynaecologist who was suspended for clinical failings has been struck off the UK medical register after a High Court judge sent his case back to the same tribunal to hear new charges against him.
The Professional Standards Authority appealed to the court against the suspension of Mohamed Battah, arguing that the General Medical Council had undercharged him in not accusing him of a serious breach of interim conditions placed on his work while he waited for his case to be heard by a medical practitioners tribunal.
