There were 101 977 acute inpatient and outpatient appointments cancelled during the latest round of strike action by junior doctors in England, NHS data1 show.
Overall, more than three quarters of a million (754 555) appointments across acute, mental health, ambulance, and community services have had to be rescheduled because of industrial action since last December, including 698 813 inpatient and outpatient appointments.
