The film deals with a curmudgeonly teacher, who is forced to spend his Christmas holidays with a troubled teenager, and a grieving caretaker, only to form a bond that transcends their differences. The film features Paul Giamatti, Dominic Sessa and Da’Vine Joy Randolph in the leading roles.
