Ram Charan, who returned to India after the Oscars ceremony, spoke to journalist Rajdeep Sardesai at the India Today Conclave 2023. “We are still soaking in the excitement,” he said at the event.
When asked about the kind of roles the actor would like to play in the future, Charan was quick to respond: “Maybe a sports-based film.” When Sardesai particularly asked if he would like to play Virat Kohli on screen, the actor said, “He is an inspiring soul. I think given a chance, it will be fantastic as I look similar also.”
Answering other questions, he also spoke about not being part of the live performance at the Academy Awards ceremony. Charan said, “I was 100% ready to get that call. I truly don’t know what happened but let’s not talk about it because the troupe who performed at the Oscars was fantastic.” Meanwhile, Charan will be next seen in Shankar’s RC15.
