At the press conference of Goodbye, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Neena Gupta, Bachchan was asked about having five releases this year. “This isn’t a new thing for me. We had multiple releases in a month back in the day. I have had 7-8 films released in a year,” said Bachchan, who was seen in Jhund (2022) earlier this year. “Due to Covid, there have been delays in films and hence there is a backlog. I hope people like Goodbye. I hope, in some time, people will experience films in the same way in OTT and theatres.”
The superstar will next be seen in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt followed by Uunchai which is still in the making. The actor is also working on an untitled film starring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Goodbye is slated to release on September 7.
