Emma Stone, the acclaimed actress renowned for her stellar performances, recently shared a little-known desire during a candid moment on Variety’s Awards ‘Circuit’ podcast. Despite her numerous accolades, the 35-year-old star admitted that there’s one title she’s been yearning for – a contestant on ‘Jeopardy!.’
Revealing her annual ritual, Stone mentioned, “I apply every June.” However, she clarified that her aspiration doesn’t involve the celebrity version of the show, asserting, “I don’t want to go on ‘Celebrity Jeopardy!’ I want to earn my stripes.”
In her pursuit of this unique ambition, Stone faces the challenge of an annual test. “You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I’ve never gotten on the show,” she lamented during the podcast.
The versatile actress, known for her role in ‘Poor Things,’ also disclosed her diligent preparation for the hypothetical ‘Jeopardy!’ appearance. “I watch it every single night, and I mark down how many answers I get right. I swear, I could go on Jeopardy!” she confidently proclaimed.
Stone’s commitment to excellence extends beyond quiz show aspirations. At the 2024 Golden Globes, she clinched two awards, celebrating her prowess as the best film actress in a comedy or musical for ‘Poor Things’ and as a producer when the movie secured the coveted title of ‘Best Picture in a Musical or Comedy.’
