Harry Styles appeared at the Toronto Film Festival 2022 alongside his co-stars from the movie My Policeman, Emma Corrin and David Dawson, following the drama surrounding the Venice Film Festival involving his Don’t Worry Darling cast. In addition, the singer won his first acting award at the festival’s Tribute Awards.
At the TIFF Tribute Awards on Sunday night, the cast of My Policeman accepted the ensemble award, and Styles was in attendance. After accepting the honour, the singer said in his speech, “Thank you so much to everyone here, on behalf of all of us, for this wonderful, wonderful award. We all loved working on this film so much. And we hope you enjoy it.”
While on his Love On tour, Styles has been performing and appearing in upcoming movies.
The musician was recently embroiled in a scandal over his other movie, which was helmed by his girlfriend Olivia Wilde. In a video that went viral on social media, Harry was accused of spitting on Chris Pine at the Don’t Worry, Darling! Venice premiere. While Pine’s representatives swiftly denied the rumours, Harry later made fun of the same while performing in New York.
The singer, who has been seeing Wilde since last year, did not make their relationship official at the Venice Film Festival. Olivia discussed the couple’s desire to keep their relationship private in an interview with Variety.
