Lil Uzi Vert has revealed what seems to be their final musical journey with the upcoming release of ‘Luv Is Rage 3’. The ‘Just Wanna Rock’ artist, who uses they/them pronouns, recently confirmed on Christmas Eve that this album will mark the end of their musical chapter.
The reason? Well, Uzi laid it out plain and simple, expressing the desire to pivot towards the world of women’s fashion. In their own words to the outlet, “I want to make music, I love making music but I don’t really wanna make music like that no more. I want to make like, women’s clothes. I’ve been working on my office in my house.”
The release date for ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ is still hanging in the air, but Uzi has been teasing this project for a while. This isn’t the first time the rapper has hinted at hanging up the mic either. Back in October, during their ‘Pink Tape’ tour, Uzi dropped the bombshell, declaring, “I was gonna wait ’til later to say it but, you know, I’m dropping ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ and ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ will be my last album.”

To reassure fans, they added, “After ‘Luv Is Rage 3,’ I guess I will go on another tour. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life. Thank you for all your support and thank you for supporting me in my decision. I’ll make sure that I give it my all on ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ this time because we gotta keep the legacy going. Thank you.”
Despite this impending farewell from the music scene, Lil Uzi Vert has left their mark in recent times, featuring on Nicki Minaj’s track ‘Everybody’ from her latest album. Critics have praised Minaj’s ability to surprise even after thirteen years in the game, describing ‘Pink Friday 2’ as a consolidation and refinement of her multifaceted talent.
