King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard have formally announced their new album, The Silver Cord, with a video for three new songs: “Theia,” “The Silver Cord,” and “Set,” the album’s opening suite. The full-length is due out October 27. Watch the new video below.
The Silver Cord is the follow-up to June’s PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation and it’s billed as the group’s 25th studio album.
The new album will be available in standard and extended editions. Of the two versions, the band’s Stu Mackenzie said in a statement:
