Rihanna recently shared that her surprise Super Bowl pregnancy announcement wasn’t as planned as it appeared. In a conversation about her collaboration with Puma, the 35-year-old singer discussed her memorable Super Bowl halftime show in 2023, where she revealed her second pregnancy with partner A$AP Rocky, 35.
With a laugh, Rihanna explained, “Here’s the thing. I did what I had to do, right? My jumper couldn’t zip up. No one knew I was pregnant. I just told my stylist, ‘Make sure it’s stretchy.’” She detailed how the undergarment was stretchy, and the outfit was intentionally baggy, but due to the zipper, it stopped in a particular spot, leading to the unexpected reveal.
During her February performance, Rihanna played up the pregnancy announcement, rubbing her stomach and unzipping her outfit to display her belly. In August, it was confirmed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their second baby, Riot Rose.
The couple later shared adorable family photos in the fall, featuring Rihanna, Rocky, Riot, and their 19-month-old son, RZA. The images captured precious moments of the growing family, showcasing the joy and happiness Rihanna has found in motherhood.
