Vanessa Hudgens has spilled the beans on why she opted out of Coachella for the second year running.
In a recent chat with Bustle, the 35-year-old expectant actress and singer explained, “The walking is aggressive. It’s a lot of walking,” when quizzed about her absence from the festival.
Earlier this month, the star treated her followers to a collection of snaps, lounging on a pink blanket that perfectly matched her dress, with a caption that read, “No Coachella for me this yearrrr. Hope y’all are having the time of your lifeeee.”

These pictures came a month after the 2024 Oscars, where Hudgens stunned viewers with the news of her pregnancy. Sporting a baby bump in a sleek black turtleneck gown, she announced after exchanging vows with professional baseball player Cole Tucker back in December 2023. Hudgens took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her Oscars appearance, starting with a charming shot blowing a kiss to the camera and followed by sweet poses cradling her belly.
“Oscar’s 2024! One for the books 😝🥳🥰♥️,” she captioned the post.
Despite missing out on Coachella this year, Hudgens made sure to keep her fans in the loop about her whereabouts. She shared her attendance at a Phish concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas by posting a picture on Instagram, flashing a peace sign while proudly displaying her bump.
“Well I didn’t make it to Coachella but I did make it to @phish @spherevegas and it blew👏🏽my👏🏽mind👏🏽 definitely one of the coolest concerts I’ve ever been to in my life. I think everyone there would agree. Can’t wait to go back for another show🫠🥳✨,” she wrote alongside the post.
