Wilco are launching a Reverb shop where they’re selling instruments, gear, and treasures from their famed Chicago studio, the Loft. Among the offerings is a Burdett pump organ that’s over a century old. “[It’s] been a staple on the space for years and made its way on many recordings,” Loft studio manager Mark Greenberg said in a statement. “Though we love it, it takes up a pretty large footprint, and in the name of freeing up space, we are ready to let this go. If you love something, set it free.”
Other offerings include a 1963 Gibson Everly Bros acoustic guitar, a 1933 Martin 0-18K, a rare 1960s Standel Custom Electric Guitar, Nels Cline’s Carr Impala combo amplifier, and two Avalon AD2022 rack preamps. The shop opens on Wednesday, February 22. Learn more at Reverb.
Wilco will tour this spring behind their 2022 album, Cruel Country. Last year, they released a super deluxe reissue of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
