Badrinath Highway has been closed for vehicular movement as debris continues to fall near Sirobgad in Pauri, following heavy rains in the state. Its alternate route to Khankra Chhatikhal Srinagar road has also been closed.
Similarly, the Tilwara-Mayali-Ghansali road is closed at Pala Kurali.
Debris and stones are falling from the hill near Kedarnath Highway Madanpur Bhatwari Sain. District Rudraprayag Police is coordinating with the border districts of Pauri and Tehri to regulate the traffic.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand during July 7 to 19.
Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan & Muzaffarabad on 05th; Himachal Pradesh on 05th, 07th-09th & Uttarakhand during 07th-19th July.
