Former Karnataka CM B S Yediyurappa was booked under Pocso Act and IPC late Thursday night for allegedly molesting a 17-year-old-rape survivor.
Her mother alleged in the complaint that she had gone to Yediyurappa’s residence on Feb 2 to seek help in the case when he took the girl into another room and molested her. The Karnataka govt has handed over the case to CID.The former chief minister denied the charge and said he would “fight the case legally”. Yediyurappa said the survivor’s mother appeared to be “mentally unstable” and spoke against him though he had helped her.
