The conspiracy to kill Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal was hatched just 500 metres away from the crime spot, said sources. The murder plot was hatched at Mohsin’s shop and Asif’s room in the neighbourhood. Both were arrested on Friday and sent to 14-day judicial custody.
According to the police, both the accused were involved in the conspiracy and preparation behind the entire crime.
The scooty registered in name of accused Ghaus Mohammad was found outside Mohsin’s shop. It was used to track down Kanhaiya Lal’s whereabouts.
Earlier on Thursday, a local court sent the two men accused of killing Kanhaiya Lal to judicial custody till July 13. The accused, Riyaz Akhtari and Ghaus Mohammad, were sent to judicial custody by Udaipur district session court in Rajasthan.
