One more accused was arrested in the murder of Haryana Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Surendra Singh.
The accused was identified as Mushtaq alias Mangal Putra Nawab, a resident of Pachgaon.
12 people have been arrested so far in connection with the alleged murder of Tawadu DSP Surendra Singh who was crushed by a truck in Nuh district.
Surendra Singh, who was investigating illegal stone mining, was killed on July 19, when a truck he signalled to stop ran over him. His body was found in an open dumpster.

The incident took place when Surendra Singh had gone to conduct a raid at Taudu Hill after receiving a tip-off about alleged illicit mining. An eyewitness said the DSP was standing near his official vehicle when he signalled the dumper driver, allegedly carrying illicit quarrying equipment, to stop. The driver did not stop and crushed the cop under his truck.
Following the incident, the Haryana Police launched a manhunt to nab the accused. A suspect was injured during a police encounter and was arrested in connection with the case.
The accused, identified as Mittar, was arrested by Haryana Police from Ganghora village in Bharatpur district. Police have also arrested the driver of the dumper-truck who was signalled by the DSP to stop the vehicle but he mowed him down.
